Does saving a TikTok notify the creator?

PicklyWave runs as a normal website: you paste a public URL and our servers help fetch publicly available metadata and media paths.

We do not send a “someone downloaded your video” notification to creators—that is not how our service works.

TikTok's own apps may show views, shares, or other engagement metrics depending on their product design and the creator's settings. That behavior is controlled by TikTok, not by PicklyWave.

Use public links responsibly; private or non-public content is out of scope and should not be bypassed.
